What We’re Doing Differently
At Dr Bailey Medspa, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword it’s a conscious commitment
embedded in how we operate.
Based within Roots of Respect, (a wellness collective in the Leeds University Quarter), built on values of health, lifestyle, and environmental responsibility – we’re proud to offer aesthetic treatments in a space that reflects our care for both people and the planet.
We know the medical aesthetics industry isn’t typically associated with sustainability, and we believe it’s time that changed.
Here’s How We’re Doing Our Part
Recycling &
Responsible Waste
We recycle where possible and use sustainable incineration services for any clinical waste that can’t be recycled safely.
Eco-Conscious
Materials
Our space is furnished with a mix of wooden and second-hand pieces, creating a warm, natural environment while reducing landfill waste. Even our toilet paper is recycled, because every detail matters.
Digital-First
Clinic
All consultations, bookings, forms, and aftercare materials are handled digitally, minimising paper waste and offering a smoother experience for patients.
Eco-Friendly
Cleaning
We use non-toxic, biodegradable cleaning products in non-clinical areas to maintain hygiene without compromising the environment.
Reusable Where
Possible
From refillable hand soaps to consciously chosen clinic items, we prioritise reusability wherever it is safe and appropriate to do so.
Sustainable
Suppliers
We work with brands like IBSA Derma (Profhilo), who follow ISO-certified environmental practices, and AbbVie (the parent company of Botox and Juvederm), which has made clear commitments to reducing carbon emissions and improving sustainability.
Encouraging
Active Travel
Located in a walkable part of Leeds, we encourage patients to walk or cycle to the clinic when possible. It’s good for the planet and for you.
Patient Education
& Advocacy
We share updates on sustainability through our social media and blog content, helping patients make more informed choices about the treatments and products they use.
